Thomas C Wales-Mary Jane Rivas

The Thomas Wales case is kept from being solved by the same people-the Mafia controlled drug corrupted system, who kept Mary from going to trial for the same reasons-they do not want the 'Third Level' breached-the Mafia's infiltration of politicians, the courts and law enforcement.
When Thomas Wales was assassinated FBI headquarters appointed a prosecutor who was an expert in organized crime to head the Thomas Wales case. Seattle strongly objected to this and a college professor was appointed to replace the organized crime expert. Source: An Unsolved Killing, August 06, 2007 The New Yorker

Cosa Nostra

"In virtually every American city of more than middling size there is a criminal underworld, a community outside the law and ordinarily immune to the penalties which fall upon accidental and free lance criminals. It has survived and grown powerful because it is useful to large and influential bodies of citizens, in politics, in business, and in the providing of forbidden pleasures. It is a community in which brute force and money talk the language, and secrecy is the dominant law.
The underworld is well organized. Its strong men rise to dictatorial proportions. They are well entrenched in politics, in business, and are substantial factors in the lives of their localities..."
"Lucky Luciano: The Man Who Organized Crime in America" Hickman Powell.

00:01:57

Mary called me Saturday night at 9:26 from Ron Sims jailhouse. Mary had just started to say something about the attorney who was supposed to help her reverse her plea when the call was immediately disconnected by the Mafia controlled drug corrupted system. The duration of the call was 00:01:57 minutes.
